History: The patient is [] year-old [] with []. Evaluate for differential renal function.


Procedure: Dynamic images of the kidneys were obtained posteriorly for [] minutes following the IV administration of [] mCi Tc-99m MAG3. Lasix (20 mg) was administered IV at [] minutes.


[There was a Foley catheter in place.]

Findings: The renal angiogram shows [good, symmetric, prompt] flow to the [left/right] kidneys.


The renogram images show [asymmetric / no significant asymmetry] in renal size.


The renogram images for the left kidney demonstrate [good/poor] cortical uptake, cortical transit, and excretion. The left collecting system is visualized at [] minutes, left ureter at [] minutes. The urinary bladder is seen at [] minutes.


The renogram images for the right kidney demonstrate [good/poor] cortical uptake, cortical transit, and excretion. The right collecting system is visualized at [] minutes and right ureter at [] minutes.


The renogram curves show the left kidney reaching peak activity at [] minutes, half of which remains [] minutes later. Following the peak of activity, there is [spontaneous prompt, complete] washout. The right kidney reaches peak activity at [] minutes, half of which remains [] minutes later. Following peak activity, there is [spontaneous prompt, complete] washout.


Split renal function: right kidney %, left kidney %.


Impression: [Normal/Abormal] radionuclide renal scintigraphy.


Left kidney: Good flow and function; no evidence of obstruction.


Right kidney: Good flow, good function; no evidence of obstruction.
